I wanted to thank John one of our owners for an update on his dogs and congratulate him on his hard work getting his dogs titled. It is fun to hear from our owners and John said we could post his email and picture. Thanks again John for the update and congrats with your dogs that is a lot of hard work and time. 

Hi Roxane, 

I wanted to send an update on HRCH LBR Luke and HRCH LBR Ellie. Luke is a 3yo out of Copper x High Caliber's Dakota Daxster and Ellie is a 2yo out of Sky x Gunner. Both received their Hunting Retriever Champion titles this past Spring.

I've trained both of them myself, so there have inevitably been plenty of first time handler mistakes made in training. Fortunately both of them have been patient with me along the way! If all goes as planned we will be shooting for an HRC International Grand run in the next year or two. We're waterfowl hunters first, but I figured I would share for any clients interested in the hunt test game! I get asked quite often where they came from and I never hesitate to recommend K and R.

Copper and Gunner Litter is here!

Our first litter is here for 2018. The puppies are doing great and have had their dew claws removed. Puppies were whelped the 19th of May. There are 9 puppies in the litter. We have 5 males and 4 females. There is 1 black male, 1 black female, 1 yellow female, 2 yellow males, 2 chocolate males, 2 chocolate females.

Update Luke

Thanks Robert for the update on Luke and allowing us to share your comments and pictures. 

update luke. people have been asking where I got him so I looked you up for them and thought I would send you an update. I'm very impressed with him he's really smart and very well tempered. he comes to elk camp with me. goes on many bird hunting trips every year and when I'm with a guide they put their dogs away and let him work. it took me 5 mins to teach him to fetch beer out off a cooler. he lives on an 8sq mile ranch on the Missouri river. and is very happy here are some pics

New Puppy Video

We took a new video of the puppies today had to do it at several times. We had to do short video of the puppies outside due to the heat. They are wet in a few of the clips from playing in water to stay cool but all in all they are having a great time playing, being wet, or playing in the grass. Fun group of puppies lots of personalities!!!!

Update on 2nd litter for 2017

All puppies from our 2nd litter for 2017 are now sold. Our next litters will be in late winter early spring of next year. There will be more to come on those litters as we plan them. We will continue to post new pictures and videos of our current litter for the owners and others to see. They have been a great group of puppies, fun personalities and great temperaments.
